Do I need a passport for a cruise?
It depends on the route and your nationality. On most international cruises you need a valid passport and, depending on the departure port and the countries on the itinerary, you may also need a visa or an electronic authorization, for example to board in the United States. When we quote we guide you, but the requirements are set by each country's authorities and can change, so always check them with official sources before booking.
What does the price of a cruise include?
It normally includes your cabin, meals in the main dining rooms and the buffet, entertainment and shows, the pools and many activities on board. Depending on the cruise line, gratuities or service charges, alcoholic and specialty drinks, shore excursions, internet, specialty restaurants and flights to the port are usually not included. What is a guaranteed fare?
It is a fare where you choose the cabin category, for example interior, ocean view or balcony, and the cruise line assigns you the cabin within that category. It is usually cheaper than choosing a specific cabin, in exchange for not choosing the exact location on the ship. We explain when it works in your favor and when it is better to pick your own cabin.
Can I cruise with children or babies?
Yes, cruises are a great option for family travel. Minimum ages vary by cruise line and route: babies can generally sail from 6 months old on most itineraries, and some long voyages require an older age. Tell us the ages of the people traveling and we will recommend the ship and cabin that suit them best.
Do you help with the flight and hotel before the cruise?
Yes. We quote your flight from your city to the departure port, a hotel night before boarding so you arrive without rushing, and the transfers between the airport, hotel and port. That way you have your whole trip in a single quote, wherever you are.
How far in advance should I book a cruise?
The sooner, the better: the most requested cabins, such as balconies and suites, and sailings during vacation seasons tend to fill up first. If your dates are flexible, there can also be good options closer to departure. Message us and we will tell you what is available for the dates you have in mind.
In which currency is a cruise quoted and how is it paid for?
It depends on the cruise line, the route and the country you book from. When we quote we explain the currency, the payment options and the deadlines available for your cruise, so you can decide with full information.
